Video to MP3
Extract the sound from an MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV video as MP3, or keep the original sound with no re-encoding. Save all of it or only the part you pick, from one video or several at once.
Tip: choose several files at once to process them all with the same settings.
How to use it
- 1Choose a video from your phone or computer: MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV. Choose several to do them all at once.
- 2Pick MP3 and a bitrate, or the original sound. To keep only part of it, drag the start and end or type the times.
- 3Press Save and download the audio file.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get the audio out of a video?
Choose the video and press Save as MP3. The sound is read from the video in your browser, so even a long video takes only as long as your device needs.
What does “original sound” mean?
Most phone videos keep their sound as AAC, and WebM videos as Opus. Original sound copies it out as it is, into an M4A or OGG file: it takes seconds and loses nothing. MP3 re-encodes it so it plays on anything.
Can I save only part of the sound, like a song from a video?
Yes. Drag the start and end on the timeline, or type the times, and play the clip to check it. Only that part is saved.
Why does it say my video has no sound?
Some videos, such as screen recordings made without a microphone or clips whose sound was removed, have no sound track at all, so there is nothing to save. Check that the video plays with sound on your device.
