Frequently asked questions

Which languages can it write?

English and other Latin-letter languages have five styles. Hindi, Marathi and other Devanagari text has Kalam and Amita. Bengali, Gujarati, Telugu and Malayalam each have one handwriting font. Tamil, Punjabi (Gurmukhi), Odia and Kannada have no handwriting font here yet, so those letters use your device's normal font.

Can I mix Hindi and English on the same page?

Yes. Each script gets its own handwriting font, so a Hindi sentence with English words in it is written in both styles on the same lines.

Why does the writing look slightly different each time I press Shuffle?

The small wobbles in size, slant and line height come from a number that Shuffle changes. The same text with the same number always gives the same page, so your preview and your download match.

How long can my notes be?

Up to 20,000 characters and 20 pages at a time. For longer work, make the pages in parts and download each part.
