Frequently asked questions

How do I sign a PDF without printing it?

Choose the PDF here, draw or type your signature, add it to the page and drag it onto the signature line. Download the PDF and send it on. There is nothing to print or scan.

Is this a digital signature (DSC)? Can I use it for GST or MCA filings?

No. This puts a picture of your signature on the page, the same as signing a printout and scanning it. A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is different: it is issued by a certifying authority, kept on a USB token and checked by the portal, and GST, MCA (ROC) and some income tax filings need one. Use this for letters, forms, agreements and declarations that just need your signature on them.

How do I put my initials on every page?

Type your initials under Name, initials and date, add them to the page and move them where you want, for example the bottom corner. Then choose Copy to every page. Each copy can be moved on its own page.

Can I use a photo of my signature on paper?

Yes. Choose From a photo and add a photo of your signature signed with a dark pen on plain paper. The paper is removed so only the ink sits on the PDF.
