QR Code Reader
Read QR codes from a photo, screenshot or PDF without a phone. See the link, UPI payee, Wi-Fi password or contact inside before you act on it.
Tip: choose several files at once to process them all with the same settings.
How to use it
- 1Add a photo, screenshot or PDF with a QR code, or paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V.
- 2Every code found is listed with what it holds: a link, a UPI payment, a Wi-Fi network, a contact and more.
- 3Copy what you need. Links are never opened for you, so check them first.
Frequently asked questions
How do I scan a QR code from a screenshot or a photo in my gallery?
Add the picture here. The code is read on your device and the text inside is shown with a Copy button. It works for screenshots, pictures sent on WhatsApp and photos of printed codes.
Can I read a QR code inside a PDF?
Yes. Add the PDF and every page is searched. Each code shows the page it is on, which helps with tickets, bills and e-invoices that carry several codes.
Can scanning a UPI QR code get me money?
No. A UPI QR code only ever lets the person who scans it pay. Fraudsters send a code and say “scan to receive money”; when you scan it and enter your PIN, the money leaves your account. You never need your UPI PIN to receive money.
How do I see the Wi-Fi password in a QR code?
Add a photo or screenshot of the Wi-Fi code. The network name, security type and password are shown: press Show password to see it, and Copy to paste it on a laptop or another phone.
Why wasn't my code found?
Use a sharp, well-lit picture in which the whole code is visible, with its blank border. If the code is small, take the photo closer, and avoid glare on glossy prints.
